Dosirak Café (도시락카페).

After the Korean War, due to the rapid population increase in Seochon (서촌) near
Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁).

Many vendors and popular places formed a traditional market here.
These vendors and stores developed into a busy marketplace now known as Tongin Market.
There are around 80 shops in Tongin Market, most of them are restaurants and vendors selling side dishes.

What sets Tongin Market apart from the other markets is the Dosirak Café (도시락카페).
At the Dosirak Café, you can buy a lunch tray with 10 yeopjeon (엽전) (brass coins; old Korean currency) for 5,000 won.

You can use the yeopjeon to buy food and fill your lunch tray as you tour around the marketplace, it's offering both a fun and unique dining experience.

망원시장 Mangwon Market

Mangwon Market was established in 1975, located in Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu Hongdae.

It is larger than Tongin Market but much smaller than Gwangjang Market.
