When should we use 이에요 or 예요?

If a noun has the final consonant (받침batchim), like "김석진 Kim Seok-jin", ( ㄴ = the final consonant), you should use "이에요" after the noun.
After adding the name "김석진", the sentence will become 김석진이에요. (I'm 김석진.) ▲

이에요/ 예요Grammar Explanation
My name is 김태형, the name "김태형" (Kim Tae-hyung) has a final consonant (받침batchim)ㅇ,you should use "이에요" after the noun.
After adding the name, the sentence will become 제 이름은 김태형이에요. (My name is 김태형.)
My name is 슈가, the name "슈가" (Suga) doesn't have (받침batchim) final consonant, you should use ‘예요’ after the noun.
After adding the name "슈가", the sentence will become 제 이름은 슈가예요. (My name is 슈가.)
