Casual : 단지 그거뿐이야.

Polite : 단지 그거뿐이에요.

그거 = 그것 = that (thing /one)

뿐 : only / just

Difference of 제발 and 주세요 ▼

Please in Korean language

Both of them can be translated into "please"

제발 use with strong emotion

= for heaven's sake / I beg of you

ex.) 제발 가지마!

Please don't go!

주세요 means "please give"

(polite / formal language)

주세요. = Give it to me, please

ex.) 돈 주세요.

Give me money, please.

6. 나 여기 단골이야. [na yeo.gi dan.gor.i.ya]

I'm a regular here.

(It means he comes here very often)

Speech Level

Casual : 나 여기 단골이야.

Polite : 저 여기 단골이에요.

Huh~ who are you gonna kill here today?

Korean Vocabulary

뭐 : huh (Interjection/Exclamation)

오늘 : today

여기 = here

누구 : who

죽이다 : to kill

단골 : regular customer

여기서 = 여기에서 : here / in this place

Noun + 에서

It indicates the place where an action or behavior occurs


7. 그니까. [geu.ni.kka]

That’s what I’m saying.

Because I am interrupting your reading.

그니까. 왜 방해해?

That's what I am saying. Why are you interrupting me?

죄송하다 : to be sorry

독서하다 : to read

방해하다 : interrupt / disturb

해서 : because

왜 : why

그니까 = 그러니까 ▼

so in Korean language

(1) it’s used when the speaker agrees with what someone else just said

= that's right

= that's what I am saying

(2) to express the reason or cause

= that's why

= so

ex.) 나 오늘 기분 안 좋아, 그니까 말 시키지 마.

I am not good mood today, so please don't talk with me.

the speaker uses it to express surprise to the information he / she just received

하시는데 :

to indicate there's something left to say
