저(polite) : I  나 (casual): I

못 : not

믿다 : trust / believe

~ /구 / 고 : in the end of sentence

It means "and" ,"also" (a connect word for next sentence)

The difference between "실망하다" & "섭섭하다"

The difference between "실망하다" & "섭섭하다"

실망하다 to be disappointed

실망 literally meaning is " lose hope"


실망하다 is stronger than 섭섭하다

당신에게 실망했어요.

I'm disappointed in you.


섭섭하다

(1) To express "disappointed" the feeling

(someone or something didn't meet your expectations)

제 마음을 몰라줘서 섭섭해요.

I am disappointed that you don't know how I feel.


(2) Sorry and feeling the lack of someone or sth

참으로 섭섭하다.

I am heartily sorry.


(3) Sad and sorry about someone or sth disappearing

그냥 이렇게 헤어지자니 섭섭하다.

It's sad to say goodbye like this.

Casual : 사귈래?

Polite : 사귈래요?

Different usages of 좀

Different usages of 좀

(1) 좀 is shorten word for 조금 = a little / some

이거 좀 드세요.

Try some of this.

(2) 좀 shows a bit nicer in talking way

메뉴 좀 주세요. Please give me the menu.

(3) 좀 has the meaning of " for goodness' sake"

To emphasis your request in a very strong way

숙제 좀 하세요! Do your homework for goodness' sake!

Suddenly?
