1. Listen and repeat after Tokki Ssaem
Listen first and repeat after Tokki Ssaem or you can try to read first by your own and you can check if your pronunciation is correct or not from Tokki Ssaem.

2. Listen anytime you want, anywhere you go
You can learn Korean on the bus while going to work / school. You can learn Korean while exercising or walking.

Daily Korean Sentences & Phrases Learning

1. 서두르세요! [seo.du.reu.se.yo]

Please hurry up!

Korean Vocabulary

서두르다 : hurry / rush

Example Sentence

시간이 없어요, 서두르세요!

Time is running out, please hurry up!

Korean Grammar

으세요 / 세요 : Korean honorifics

This grammar is used to speak or requests politely.

It is also used to give suggestions using in a well-mannered way.

으세요 / 세요 : Korean honorifics

When a verb stem has the final consonant, 으세요 is attached. 

Example Sentence

읽으세요.

Please read.

When a verb stem has no final consonant, 세요 is attached. 

Example Sentence

어서오세요.

Welcome.

2. 어려워요. [eo.ryeo.wo.yo]

It’s difficult. 

Korean Vocabulary

어렵다 : difficult / hard

Example Sentence

(1) 어려워요?

Is it difficult?

(2) 질문이 어려워요.

The question is hard.

3. 쉬워요. [swi.wo.yo]

It’s easy. 

Korean Vocabulary

쉽다 : easy

Example Sentence

(1) 쉬워요?

Is it easy?

(2) 한국어 쉬워요.

Korean is easy.

4. 달라요. [dal.la.yo]

It’s different.

Korean Vocabulary

다르다 : different

Example Sentence

(1) 달라요?

Is it different?

(2) 뭐가 달라요?

What’s different?

5. 몰라요. [mol.la.yo]

I don’t know.

Notice :

It's common to omit the subject in Korean sentences.

모르다 : to not know

Korean Phrase

모르는 사람 : a person who one doesn't know / a stranger

모르는 번호 : a phone number that one doesn't recognize

모르는 이야기 : something that one has not heard of before

6. 빨라요. [ppal.la.yo]

It’s fast. 

Korean Vocabulary

빠르다 : fast / quick

Korean Phrase

빨리 먹다 : to eat fast

말이 빠르다 : someone speaks quickly / to have a fast way of talking / to speak fast

눈치가 빠르다 : to have a quick sense of what is happening / to have a fast intuition

Example Sentence

(1) 그 배우는 말이 너무 빨라요.

That actor talks too fast.

(2) 시간이 너무 빨라요.

Time goes too fast.

7. 화가 나요. [hwa.ga na.yo]

I’m angry.

Korean Vocabulary

화난 : angry

Korean Phrase

화가 나다 : to feel angry

화내다 : to get angry at someone / to show one's anger

Example Sentence

사소한 일에도 자꾸 화가 나요.

She keeps getting angry at small things.

8. 집에 가요. [ji.be ga.yo]

Let’s go home. 

Depends on subject, "집에 가요." can have different meanings.

집에 가요.

Let's go home.

I'm going home.

We are going home.

Korean Vocabulary

집 : house / home

가다 : to go

Example Sentence

(1) 집에 가요?

Are you going home?

(2) 저는 오늘 집에 가요. 

I'm going home today.

9. 저는 서울에 살아요. [jeo.neun seo.u.re sa.ra.yo]

I live in Seoul.

Korean Vocabulary

저 : I 

서울 : Seoul

살다 : to live

은 / 는 : Topic marking particles

에 : time / location particle

10. 도와주세요. [do.wa.ju.se.yo]

Help me, please.

Casual language : 도와줘.

Korean Vocabulary

돕다 : to help

Korean Phrase

일을 돕다 : to help someone in his / her work

서로 돕다 : to help each other

도와주다 " to give someone a hand

Example Sentence

(1) 도와주셔서 감사합니다.

Thank you for helping me.

(2) 제가 어떻게 도와 드릴까요?
